The Governor's Challenge--not political...FITNESS!

We're starting again...check out the website (http://www.calgovcouncil.org ) and register to participate in the Governor's Challenge...Keep track of your days of activity for at least a month...30-60min. a day,at least 3 days a week for 4 weeks and help Independence win $$ or maybe even a new fitness center.

Last year we won an interactive video game for the school, but we want to get more involved this year.This year, teachers can help the school get credit for participation (sign up and just click on the "running man" on the calendar each day your are active..no need to have hard copy verifications this year)...make it a class activity... It will be part of the upcoming Battle of the Classes. It is also a great way to get everyone active and in a healthy routine!

For all students and staff that register you will be able to downloard a 30 day pass to 24 Hour Fitness...when you complete the challenge, you will receive a 90 day pass.
